Long Time, No Post

Well, I am back from my long vacation from the blogging world. As I looked at my last post, I realized that the last time I posted something, I was in Korea. WOW!!! That seems like forever ago. Life has been crazy. I have been going to good ol' Pittsburg State University and am currently in my junior year. As I expected, life has been very different as a college student. It has taken me a while to get into the flow of things but I think that I am finally getting a hang of it. It took me long enough!

Being a commercial graphics major is wonderful and terrible all at the same time. I love the feeling of having a finished product after working hard to create something. There is something very satisfying about taking something from development nothing and creating a piece of digital art. I hate how much it costs to do what I would like to do. Darn Adobe. :D

Here are some of the things that I have made.

This a notepad that I created for my digital file preparation class. We made notepads that are going to be passed out to high school students trying to entice them to join the Department of Graphics and Imaging Technolgies

This is a movie poster that I made for my Layout and Design class. We were to pick a classic movie (anything before 1990 HA!) and make a poster for a fake classic movie channel. (for some reason Blogger discolored the image, it does't really have a red tint to it.)

This is a recreation of a magazine article that I also made for my Layout and Design class.
